Creating a School Curriculum

In September 2021, the James A. Garfield Alliance, Teaching Cleveland and a group of educational partners from throughout Northeast Ohio, began developing a new school curriculum that focuses on President Garfield, Reconstruction in Northeast Ohio and the role this area played in the history of civil rights in America. The goal is to complete the curriculum by Spring of 2022 and make the content available to schools throughout the area.

As the Garfield Alliance and its educational partners complete the work, the Alliance is accepting names of educators interested in receiving the content when it is done. Please complete the form below, and we will keep you apprised of our progress and completion. Thank you for your interest.
